InTheStacks
Newbie to therapy, but wanting to go into it with my eyes open. I was actually in therapy before, years ago, with someone that lost her license for having sex with a client and other boundary violations. This time around, I am older, wiser, and hopefully more self-aware. Thanks for starting this site; I wish I had known about it years ago. Eve B
Glad you found our forum, InTheStacks, and welcome! There's certainly a lot to learn from the experiences of others. If there's ever a next time around with another therapist for you, the more knowledge and awareness you have, the safer you'll be!
disequilibrium1
Sorry I missed your post. Welcome. I find it an interesting exploration here. Whether in therapy or out, I think it important to view the experiences with my prerogative and judgment rather than accepting the assertions (or salesmanship) of therapists.
